Advanced Hitting Camp

This hitting clinic is designed to be a very advanced clinic with a high level of instruction.  Enrollment will be limited in order to maximizepersonal attention. Players will be grouped according to age, physical maturity, previous experience and overall ability.
 
We will emphasize proper grip, stance, balance, stride, swing mechanics, and finish. Player’s swings will be broken down and corrected through various drill work, batting practice and video analysis.  Players will also learn the mental side of hitting with regards to counts, pitch type, situations, and overall hitting routines at the plate.
 
Our staff includes current Eastern University Baseball staff members and players thatwill conduct specifically designed sessions that focus on mental preparation, strategy and the keys becoming a better hitter.
 
Facility
Camp will take place at the Baseball field and Auxiliary Gymnasium on Eastern University’s main campus.
 
Camp Check-in
Registration: Check in will take place on Wednesday, August 8th from 8:45 am to 9:00 am at the Baseball Field.
 
Items to Bring to Camp:
• Each player is encouraged to come in a uniform (high school, legion or summer team).
• Bat
• Batting Gloves
• You MUST wear sneakers or turf shoes
Non-Baseball Items to Bring to Camp:
• Baseball Cap
• Long sleeve shirt or BP Fleece
• Jacket (windbreaker)
• Snack and Drink
